Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms cover your use of HexaTape (hexatape.com and hexatape.ai) and any subscription you buy. HexaTape is operated by Zrothers Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use HexaTape.

01What HexaTape is

HexaTape publishes market data and analytics pages: liquidation maps, vault track-record screens, trading-cost tables, prediction-market price calibration, Ethereum unstaking data and similar tools. They are built from public data, such as exchange and blockchain records and the venues' own published fee pages.

02Information only. Not financial advice

Nothing on HexaTape is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We don't know your circumstances. We don't manage money, hold customer funds or trade on anyone's behalf. Markets are risky, crypto markets especially, and you can lose some or all of what you put in. Make your own decisions, and check anything you rely on.

03Accuracy and availability

We work hard to get every number right and to show where it comes from. But the data comes from third parties and can be wrong, late or incomplete, and each tool has limits, which its page describes. HexaTape is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, pause or retire any page or feature. If we stop offering a paid subscription before the end of a period you have paid for, we will refund the unused part.

04Who can use HexaTape

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. You may not use HexaTape if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive US sanctions, or if you are named on a US government restricted-party list such as the Specially Designated Nationals list kept by the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you are. We may refuse or end service where we believe the law requires it.

05Subscriptions and access

Some pages need a paid subscription. The plans, their prices and what each includes are shown before you pay. Once your payment completes, you have access for the period you paid for.

Your access is personal. Keep your access key private: anyone who has it can use your subscription. Don't share it, and tell us if you think it has been exposed, and we will replace it.

06Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars (USD). Where we have to collect sales tax, VAT or a similar tax, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay. We may change our prices. A price change applies from your next renewal, and we will email you before it does.

07Paying by card

Card payments, and any other payment method shown at checkout, are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price in effect then, until you cancel. The charge appears on your statement as HEXATAPE.

08Paying with crypto

We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), USDT and USDC. The checkout shows which networks each coin can be sent on. A crypto payment buys one fixed period and does not renew automatically.

  • Each invoice shows an exact amount, an address and a network, and is valid for a limited time. Send exactly that amount of that coin, on that network, before the invoice expires.
  • Send from a regular wallet or an exchange account. Payments sent through a smart-contract wallet may need a manual check before access starts.
  • Payments that arrive late, for the wrong amount, as a different coin or on a different network are not credited automatically. Email us the transaction ID and we will look into it. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed, and coins sent on a network we don't support may be impossible to recover.
  • You pay the network fee for your payment.
  • Crypto payments go straight to our own wallets. We will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase, and no one from HexaTape ever will.

09Cancelling

You can cancel a card subscription at any time from your billing page or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Crypto subscriptions end on their own at the end of their period.

10Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains when you can get a refund and how. In short: first-time subscribers can get a full refund within 7 days. Otherwise payments are not refundable, except for billing mistakes or where the law requires a refund.

11Fair use

Use HexaTape for your own research or your organization's internal research. Quoting a figure with credit to HexaTape is fine. Please don't:

  • resell, republish or redistribute paid pages or their data;
  • scrape or bulk-download paid pages, or share or sell access;
  • try to get around access controls, attack the service or overload it;
  • use HexaTape to break any law.

We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules.

12Our content

The pages, analysis, design and software of HexaTape belong to Zrothers Inc. The public facts underneath them belong to no one; our selection, analysis and presentation of them are ours. Subject to these terms, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to view and use the pages.

13No warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, HexaTape is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

14Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zrothers Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment losses or lost profits, arising from your use of HexaTape. Our total liability for any claim relating to HexaTape is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$100 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of HexaTape.

15Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems can be settled quickly that way.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects paid subscribers, we will email them before it takes effect. Using HexaTape after that means you accept the updated terms.
