Liquidation levels, hour by hour

Liquidation heatmap

Where the liquidations sat every hour for the last week, and how the price moved into them. Built from real Hyperliquid positions and the liquidation price the exchange reports for each one, then estimated across the whole market. The brighter the band, the more forced buying or selling waits there.

How to read it. Pink levels are longs, below the price: a fall sets them off. Blue levels are shorts, above it: a rise sets them off. The white line is the price. A band that stays bright for days is a level a lot of money is leaning on.

Each column is one hourly scan. Each band is the money that would be liquidated if the price reached it, as it stood that hour. Whole market adds the other big exchanges and the part of Hyperliquid the scan did not reach, estimated from how Hyperliquid's traders are placed. Hyperliquid only is the measured part alone.

Measured first, then estimated

Every level starts from Hyperliquid's public positions and the liquidation price the exchange itself reports. The whole-market view spreads the other exchanges' open interest the way Hyperliquid's traders are spread. That part is an estimate.

One picture an hour

We read the biggest accounts on Hyperliquid's leaderboard once an hour. A position opened and closed between two scans never shows, and smaller traders are not read.

Ran through is an estimate

We add up the levels that sat between one hour's price and the next. A quick spike between scans can set off levels we miss, and a level can be closed before the price gets there.
